"I just thought I would let you know that your show was
one of 3 I did in 4 weekends. I participated in the North
Bay Boat and RV show, your Show, and the Callander
Sportsman Show. I sold as much or more and made as
many or more contacts at the Sturgeon Falls Show as I
did anywhere else in the span of 3 shows in 4 weeks. I
heard and/or saw many of the advertisements long in
advance of the show, you would have had to be living
under a rock to have missed all of the advertising, and
it had equally as many visitors as the others (or more)
and my costs were about the same.
Although we all like to write paper, make sales and get
solid leads, trade shows are first and foremost, a
vehicle for advertising and promotion and exposing
your product or service to people that were not familiar
with it. The Sturgeon Falls Home and Leisure Show did
all of these things very effectively for us and I would
happily take part again".

As for the fee $5 fee at door,
keep charging it. In our
experience, when shows are
free, you do get the flow of
people yes, but not the people
who want to spend , They want
free stuff. Lots of frustration.

| OUR 30 FOOT HIGH GODZILLA WAS A REAL ATTENTION GETTER. MOST OF THE TIME THERE WAS A LINE UP OF CARS WANTING TO HAVE THEIR PICTURES TAKEN WITH HIM. WE HOPE TO BE ABLE TO DISPLAY HIM IN KANATA IN 2013! |
