| OUR FIFTH YEAR ANNIVERSARY |
It is hard to believe that it's been five years since we first presented this
event to the residents of the Upper Ottawa Valley. Our first year was a huge
gamble, (as every new Show is), but both the residents and exhibitors sent us
a strong message and the show was a great success.
Each year after, we added to the show a little to keep it fresh. One year we
had a Strongman competition and the following year we had a million dollar car
show. We've added mascots, kid's games, Sumo Wrestling, and even doubled
the size of our Outdoors Show. These additions resulted in us seeing many
familiar faces returning year after year with an increased overall attendance.
For 2012 we are making perhaps the biggest change of all: The re-naming of
the event.
After we added "The Petawawa Women's Show" in 2009, people started to
refer to our Sportsman Show as "The Petawawa Men's Show"! And why not?
The Show had everything a guy could want. Fishing, hunting, outfitters, boats
etc. Well, almost everything. What about the couch potatoes or the home
handyman? Not every guy is into sports.
So, for 2012, we are very pleased to announce the official birth of the
"Petawawa Men's Show"! The Show will still be about 50% "Sports", but
visitors will now be able to see possible displays like: Home Theatre Systems,
Tools, Gadgets and Gizmos, Hobbies, Wood Working themes, Renovators and
really anything else a guy could want to learn more about.
Each booth is 10' X 10' and our rental rates remain the same as they were five
years ago! Each booth will be equipped with: Full curtaining, a six foot table,
two chairs, as well as an electrical hook-up if requested.
You will find below, our 2012 proposed floor plan. It should be noted that this
is very similar to previous years, and year after year we Sell-Out every
available space.
If you are considering exhibiting in this event, there are a few things you
should know.
1. We do require a signed agreement.
2. Booths at the end of a row have a $49.99 surcharge added to them.
3. Booth #'s 62-85 DO NOT have electricity.
